In the DAC news, Warren Buffett-backed Occidental Petroleum (Oxy) formalized its
long-term relationship with Carbon Engineering – a provider of direct air capture or
DAC solutions – by announcing that it would buy the startup for $1.1 billion… ZE CAT’s
strategy to buy Climeworks, as stated in our business plan, shows strategic credibility.
We see lots of untapped value in Climeworks that can be significantly increased and
sustainable by cutting its operation costs, significantly increasing its capacity, and
utilizing the captured carbon to maximize profits rather than incurring costs for
storage… Our focus is “Obtaining Real Value” without “Artificial Growth” (by creating
a business model that will create “Cash Flow,” and “Profits,” that “Pays Dividends”),
and out-runs its cost to scale, in a period after scale (i.e., 10-25 years).
